About this treatment
Botulinum toxin is the standard first-line treatment for dynamic wrinkles — lines created by repeated muscle movement, such as horizontal forehead lines, vertical frown lines between the brows, and crow's feet around the eyes. Precisely placed micro-injections temporarily reduce the activity of the targeted muscles, allowing the overlying skin to smooth out while preserving natural expression. The treatment takes 15–20 minutes, requires no anaesthesia beyond optional numbing cream, and has no downtime — patients return to normal activities immediately. The effect develops gradually over 3–7 days, peaks at about two weeks, and lasts 3–6 months, after which the treatment can be repeated. Pricing is transparent at 2,000 Kč per treated area.
The practice also offers botulinum toxin for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) as a separate treatment with its own pricing.

Initial consultation is free of charge. Anaesthesia (general or analgosedation) is included in the surgery price; overnight hospitalisation at FN Plzeň (2,025–2,725 Kč/night) and compression garments (500–1,500 Kč) are billed separately.
Preparation required
Avoid blood thinners and alcohol for 24–48 hours before to reduce bruising. Do not rub or massage the treated area, lie flat, or exercise intensely for 4–6 hours after the injections.
