It remains the most studied and most widely administered wellness IV formulation worldwide. The canonical formula combines: magnesium chloride or glycinate (muscle relaxant, cofactor in ATP synthesis, NMDA receptor modulator, vasodilatory); calcium gluconate (neuromuscular function, enzyme activation); B5 (pantothenate — coenzyme A precursor, cortisol modulation); B6 (pyridoxine — neurotransmitter synthesis, amino acid metabolism); B12 (cobalamin — nerve health, red blood cell formation); B-complex (supporting the above across all eight B vitamins); and vitamin C (antioxidant, immune modulation, collagen synthesis).
