About this treatment
Electrocardiography (EKG, also written ECG) at Infuze Pomáhá is a standard 12-lead cardiac rhythm assessment. The test records the heart's electrical conduction through electrodes placed at defined anatomical positions — six precordial leads on the chest (V1–V6) and four limb leads (on the wrists and ankles) — providing 12 distinct views of cardiac electrical activity. The recording takes several minutes and the trace is available immediately for review.
The 12-lead EKG is one of the most information-rich diagnostic tests available for its simplicity and cost.
