What's included

4 deliverables in this treatment

  • Venous blood draw and in-house PRP centrifugation and preparation
  • Sterile PRP injection into the target joint, tendon, or soft tissue
  • Post-injection rest and observation period
  • Clinical guidance on activity modification and follow-up timing

Infinity Clinic administers autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections for orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions, under the supervision of the clinic's trauma-orthopaedic team. PRP is prepared from the patient's own blood — a small sample is drawn, centrifuged to concentrate platelets and growth factors, then injected into the affected joint, tendon, or soft tissue. The growth factor concentration in PRP may support tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and accelerate healing in conditions such as osteoarthritis, tendinopathy, and joint degeneration. The procedure takes approximately 45 minutes in total and is performed under sterile technique. At 3,000–9,000 Kč depending on dosage, this offers a biologic therapy option at a fraction of Western European pricing.

About this treatment

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy at Infinity Clinic — listed in the price list as aplikace separované plazmy (application of separated plasma) — is an autologous biologic treatment used within the orthopaedic and rehabilitation programme. Autologous means the therapy uses the patient's own biological material, eliminating risk of rejection or disease transmission.

The science behind PRP

Whole blood contains a small percentage of platelets — cell fragments that are central to the clotting cascade and tissue repair. When a blood sample is centrifuged, the platelets are concentrated 3–8 times above baseline into the PRP fraction. This concentrate is rich in alpha-granules containing growth factors including Platelet-Derived Growth Factor (PDGF), Transforming Growth Factor-beta (TGF-β), Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF), Insulin-like…
