About this treatment
Professional whitening uses peroxide-based gels, applied under dental supervision, to lighten discolouration that has built up in the enamel and dentine over time from food, drink, smoking and ageing. Because the concentration and contact are controlled by the clinic, in-office whitening is associated with faster and more predictable lightening than shop-bought strips or toothpastes, while custom trays let you continue or maintain the result at home.
