A thin, custom ceramic shell bonded to the front of a tooth to improve its colour, shape or alignment. At Implantclinic veneers are produced with the CEREC chairside system from an all-ceramic block, allowing precise, natural-looking results for chipped, worn, discoloured or slightly uneven front teeth. Minimal tooth preparation is typically needed, and bonding is colour-matched to neighbouring teeth for a seamless finish.

About this treatment

Veneers are slim facings of ceramic permanently bonded to the visible surface of front teeth to enhance a smile. They can mask discolouration that does not respond to whitening, repair chips and worn edges, close small gaps and make slightly irregular teeth look more even and harmonious. Because they sit on the front of the tooth, veneers usually require only conservative preparation compared with a full crown, preserving more of the natural tooth.

At Implantclinic veneers are crafted using the CEREC chairside CAD/CAM system: the tooth is scanned digitally, the veneer is designed on screen to the desired shape and proportion, and it is milled from an all-ceramic block before being bonded with a colour-matched adhesive.
