A custom-made cap that covers and protects a tooth that is heavily filled, cracked or root-treated, restoring its shape, strength and appearance. Implantclinic offers a classic porcelain-fused-to-metal crown at 2,400 zł and a range of metal-free options — CEREC all-ceramic, multilayer zirconia and Cercon — at 2,700 zł, all made with the support of the clinic's in-house laboratory and chairside CAD/CAM.

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped restoration that fits over a prepared natural tooth to rebuild it when too much structure has been lost to a large filling, fracture or root-canal treatment. By encasing the remaining tooth, a crown restores its function and protects it from further breakdown, while also improving its colour and shape. The choice of material balances strength and aesthetics: a porcelain-fused-to-metal crown has a strong metal substructure beneath a porcelain surface, while modern all-ceramic and zirconia crowns are metal-free for greater translucency and a more natural look, particularly useful for front teeth. At Implantclinic the tooth is shaped under local anaesthetic and a digital or conventional impression is taken; the clinic's CEREC system allows many all-ceramic crowns to be designed and milled chairside, and an in-house laboratory supports more complex prosthetic work. A CAD-Temp or standard temporary crown protects the tooth between visits where needed. Where a tooth is badly broken down, a fibreglass or cast post may first be placed to provide a core for the crown. Once fitted, the crown is checked for bite and adjusted for comfort. Crowns are suited to teeth that are cracked, extensively restored or root-treated and at risk of fracture; the most appropriate material is recommended based on the tooth's position, the forces it bears and the desired appearance, and is agreed at the prosthetic consultation.
