The lymphatic drainage and lifting facial massage at Impera Clinic is a very popular technique developed for active lymphatic drainage, relaxation of the mimic muscles, and strengthening of the facial contours. It is suitable as a prevention of premature skin ageing, eliminates facial puffiness and dark circles under the eyes, and evens out and improves the skin tone. For its relaxing and anti-stress effects it is recommended to everyone, and it is also suitable during pregnancy. A course of 6–8 weekly sessions is recommended.

About this treatment

This facial massage technique combines manual lymphatic drainage with a lifting effect to refresh, de-puff, and tone the face while providing deep relaxation.

What it does

  • Active lymphatic drainage — gentle, rhythmic movements stimulate the facial lymphatic system to clear retained fluid, reducing puffiness in the face and the appearance of dark circles under the eyes.
  • Relaxation of the mimic muscles — releasing tension held in the facial expression muscles, which softens tension lines and promotes relaxation.
  • Strengthening of facial contours — the lifting component helps tone and define the facial contours.
  • Skin tone — the massage evens out and improves the complexion.
