Impera Clinic uses the Fotona laser to treat vascular lesions — dilated capillaries and small vessels on the face and body — and to reduce and remove pigment spots. The laser energy is absorbed by the target (haemoglobin in vessels or melanin in pigment), heating and clearing it while sparing the surrounding skin. The treatment is safe, with minimal recovery, and is effective for redness, broken capillaries, rosacea-type concerns, and uneven pigmentation. Treatment is tailored at consultation, with the number of sessions depending on the extent of the concern.
About this treatment
Laser therapy with the Fotona system is an effective way to clear unwanted vascular marks and pigment irregularities from the skin, restoring a more even tone.
Vascular lesions
Dilated capillaries, broken vessels, and redness on the face and body occur when small blood vessels become visible near the skin surface. The laser delivers energy that is preferentially absorbed by haemoglobin in these vessels, heating and collapsing them so the body can reabsorb them. The result is reduced redness and clearer skin. The clinic also uses Fotona for rosacea-type redness (kuperóza/růžovka) on dedicated treatment protocols.

Who is this for?

Preparation required
Avoid sun and self-tan for 2–4 weeks before. Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. Disclose photosensitising medication. Avoid sun, heat, and picking of treated spots afterward, and use SPF; let any darkened pigment flake off naturally.
