Laser tattoo removal at Impera Clinic uses the Fotona StarWalker laser with FracTAT fractional technology, which effectively breaks tattoo pigment into smaller particles that the body naturally clears. The treatment is gentle on the skin, minimises the risk of scarring, and supports faster healing. The Fotona StarWalker can remove even multi-coloured tattoos and permanent make-up, and the FracTAT technology increases effectiveness while reducing the overall number of sessions required.

About this treatment

Laser tattoo removal works by breaking down embedded tattoo ink into fragments small enough for the body's immune system to clear away over time. Impera Clinic uses the advanced Fotona StarWalker laser with FracTAT technology.

How it works

The laser delivers extremely short, high-power pulses of light that are absorbed by the tattoo pigment. This energy shatters the ink into much smaller particles, which are then gradually removed by the body's natural clearance processes over the weeks following each session. Because the energy is targeted at the pigment, the surrounding skin is largely spared.
