Botulinum toxin injections at Impera Clinic relax the facial muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles, smoothing the skin for several months. Treatment is most often applied to the forehead, the bridge of the nose (frown lines), and the outer corners of the eyes — areas where expression lines form first. How it works
Dynamic wrinkles form when underlying muscles contract repeatedly over years — frowning, raising the eyebrows, squinting. Botulinum toxin temporarily blocks the nerve signals to these targeted muscles, so they relax and the overlying skin smooths out. Because the muscle is no longer creasing the skin with every expression, existing lines soften and new ones are delayed.

Preparation required
Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medication (where medically safe) for 24–48 hours before to reduce bruising. Disclose any neuromuscular conditions, pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Do not exercise, lie flat, or rub the area for the rest of treatment day.
