IMC Healthcare offers a formal mental health and psychological assessment pathway that combines GP-level clinical evaluation with access to in-house psychologists — a relatively rare combination among Singapore's private GP clinics. The assessment process begins with a GP mental health consultation, during which a validated screening tool (such as PHQ-9 for depression, GAD-7 for anxiety, or the Maslach Burnout Inventory) may be used to quantify symptom severity and guide triage. The GP can initiate pharmacological management (e.g. SSRIs, anxiolytics) or refer directly to IMC's psychology team for formal psychological assessment.
