- Venous blood draw
- Analysis of 8 hormone markers
- Physical exam (height, weight, BP, heart rate)
- Comprehensive results report
A blood test that checks eight key male hormones, including testosterone, estradiol and SHBG, to give a snapshot of hormone balance in men aged 18+. Results return in about 72 hours after a fasting (midnight) venous draw.
About this treatment
The LC Male Hormone Health Screen evaluates eight hormone markers—Estradiol (E2), FSH, Progesterone, Prolactin, Total Testosterone, SHBG, Free Androgen Index and LH—using a single venous blood sample. You must fast from midnight and can drink water before the draw. After the sample is taken, the laboratory processes the panel and delivers results in roughly 72 hours. The price includes a brief physical examination (height, weight, blood pressure and heart rate) plus a detailed report that explains each hormone’s role and how the values may support overall wellbeing. This screen is aimed at men 18 + who suspect hormonal imbalance, are experiencing low energy, reduced libido, or want to monitor therapy effects.

Biomarkers tested
7The most potent and prevalent form of estrogen. In women, estradiol regulates the menstrual cycle, fertility, and bone density. In men, it's produced from testosterone and plays roles in bone health and libido. Levels vary significantly with age and menstrual cycle.
A calculated ratio of total testosterone to SHBG that estimates the amount of biologically active testosterone. FAI is particularly useful in women for assessing androgen excess in conditions like PCOS.
Regulates reproductive function in both sexes. In women, FSH stimulates egg development; elevated levels indicate declining ovarian reserve or menopause. In men, FSH stimulates sperm production.
A hormone essential for menstrual cycle regulation and pregnancy maintenance. Progesterone rises after ovulation, preparing the uterus for implantation. Low levels can cause irregular periods and difficulty maintaining pregnancy.
A hormone primarily known for stimulating breast milk production. Elevated prolactin in non-pregnant individuals can indicate pituitary tumors, medication side effects, or hypothyroidism. High levels can suppress reproductive hormones.
Protein binding testosterone and oestradiol; changes affect hormone availability.
The primary male sex hormone, also important in women at lower levels. Testosterone regulates muscle mass, bone density, fat distribution, libido, and mood. Levels decline naturally with age in both sexes.
