Radiofrequency devices deliver electrical energy as heat into the dermis and subcutaneous tissue. Monopolar RF achieves the deepest penetration for broad facial and body tightening, while bipolar RF focuses on superficial dermal layers for fine line improvement. Fractional RF microneedling combines microneedle penetration with RF energy delivery at the needle tips, enhancing collagen remodelling and skin texture simultaneously.
