Treatment generally takes two visits. At the second visit each veneer is tried in, adjusted for fit and shade, and bonded firmly to the tooth. Veneers are best suited to healthy front teeth with sound enamel; the dentist will assess suitability, discuss how many teeth to treat for a balanced result, and explain that prepared teeth will always need some form of covering thereafter.
