PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy at I am clinic uses growth factors concentrated from your own blood to stimulate skin regeneration, collagen production, and improved tone and texture. A small blood sample is centrifuged to isolate the platelet-rich fraction, which is then injected into the face or delicate eye area. Because the material is autologous, allergic reaction risk is essentially eliminated. A combination protocol with hyaluronic acid (10,000 Kč) pairs regeneration with immediate hydration, and a two-application course is discounted to 12,000 Kč.
About this treatment
PRP ('vampire facial' in popular media) is an autologous regenerative treatment: your own platelets, concentrated several-fold above blood levels, release growth factors — PDGF, TGF-beta, VEGF, EGF — that signal fibroblasts to produce collagen, promote new microcirculation, and accelerate tissue repair.
The procedure
A standard blood draw (similar to a routine lab test) is taken at the clinic and spun in a centrifuge for around 10 minutes to separate the platelet-rich plasma. The PRP is then injected into the target area using fine needles or microcannula — typically the full face, or specifically the under-eye area where thin skin shows dark circles and fine lines that respond well to biological regeneration.
