About this treatment
The deep plane facelift is regarded by leading facial surgeons as the most natural and durable facelift technique available. Instead of tightening the skin (the cause of the 'windswept' look of older facelift styles), the surgeon releases and repositions the deeper musculoaponeurotic layer (SMAS) together with the skin as a single unit — restoring the cheek, jawline, and neck to their youthful position with no tension on the skin closure.
