About this treatment
Liposuction at Klinika Leticia uses tumescent technique: a solution of saline, local anaesthetic and adrenaline is infiltrated into the fatty tissue before removal, reducing blood loss and improving comfort. Ultrasonic-assisted liposuction is available for fibrous or larger areas. The aspirated fat can be purified and used for fat transfer (lipofilling) to other areas if desired. Good candidacy requires firm elastic skin, BMI not significantly above 30, non-smoking and realistic expectations — liposuction is a contouring tool, not a weight-loss method.
