Facelift (Face & Neck Lift)

Face and neck lift at Klinika Leticia in Brno, performed by MUDr. Petr Hýža, Ph.D. and MUDr. Jitka Vokurková, Ph.D. Techniques range from a mini facelift or MACS lift under local anaesthesia (outpatient, from 100,000 Kč) to a deep-plane SMAS lift under general anaesthesia (up to 200,000 Kč). All standard approaches include simultaneous neck tightening. Tissue adhesive is used in SMAS and deep-plane procedures for longer-lasting results.

Klinika Leticia offers the full spectrum of facelift techniques adapted to the degree of facial ageing and patient preference for anaesthesia. The SMAS (Sub-Muscular Aponeurotic System) technique tightens the deeper support layer of the face rather than just skin, producing longer-lasting results; the deep-plane variant releases and repositions the SMAS for even more comprehensive rejuvenation. A tissue adhesive is applied in SMAS and deep-plane procedures instead of (or in addition to) sutures, helping maintain the lift. Local anaesthesia with analgosedation (adjustable twilight) allows outpatient discharge; general anaesthesia requires 1-day hospitalisation. Liposuction of the jowl and neck can be added at the time of surgery for an additional charge. Post-operatively, a compression bandage is worn; the head can be washed after 2 days; daily activities resume within several days; scar massage begins at day 14; and scars continue to improve over 6 months.
