Hydromassage

Hydromassage is an automated massage modality that uses pressurised water jets positioned beneath a waterproof membrane or surface. The client lies fully clothed on top of the surface while the jets move along the body, delivering targeted pressure to muscles and soft tissue. There is no direct water contact — the client remains dry throughout the session.

The treatment provides a massage-like experience without requiring a massage therapist, making it more accessible and consistently available during opening hours. The water pressure can typically be adjusted for intensity, and the jets follow a programmed path that covers the full body from shoulders to legs.

Hydromassage may support muscle relaxation, reduce tension, improve local circulation, and provide a general sense of wellbeing. It is commonly used as a recovery modality after exercise or as a relaxation treatment. The passive nature of the treatment (the client simply lies down and lets the machine work) makes it particularly appealing after more active treatments like HBOT or salt therapy.
