HMI Medical's Weight Management Programme takes a clinical, individualised approach to achieving and maintaining a healthy weight. The programme begins with a comprehensive Weight & Metabolic Health Assessment — a DEXA body-composition scan followed by a physician consultation that reviews the patient's medical history, lifestyle, biometric data, and specific goals. This assessment provides both the objective data and the clinical context needed to design a programme that is genuinely personalised rather than template-driven. The assessment is available as a standalone consultation for patients who already have recent blood test results (from SGD 202 nett), or bundled with a health screening that includes blood panels (from SGD 403 nett). Once the assessment is complete and the doctor has issued a recommendation, patients can enrol in the ongoing Weight Care Programme at a monthly rate from SGD 322. The Weight Care Programme is built around continuity: patients receive a personalised care plan, access to regular nurse monitoring appointments, and scheduled physician reviews to assess progress and adjust the approach as needed. Where medically appropriate, the programme may incorporate prescription medications — including GLP-1 receptor agonists — as part of a supervised medical weight loss plan. The clinical team is transparent about the role of medication: it is presented as one tool within a broader lifestyle and metabolic strategy, not a standalone solution. Four specialist doctors across the Amara and Farrer Park locations lead the weight management service, ensuring clinical oversight throughout the patient journey from assessment through ongoing management.
