HMI Medical's diagnostic testing capability underpins all of its screening and specialist care programmes. Blood tests are processed in accredited laboratories with rapid turnaround times, and results are typically available for physician review within the same visit or the following morning. The blood testing menu spans a wide clinical range: full blood count and differential, lipid profiles (total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides), HbA1c and fasting glucose for diabetes risk, liver function tests (ALT, AST, ALP, bilirubin, albumin), renal function (urea, creatinine, eGFR), thyroid function (TSH, free T4), inflammatory markers (CRP, ESR), and a range of cancer markers including PSA, CEA, CA-125, AFP, and CA19-9. Hormonal panels include testosterone, DHEA-S, FSH, LH, oestradiol, and progesterone for life-stage assessments. STD screening is available as an add-on or within the Essential Plus package, covering HIV, hepatitis B and C, syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhoea. Vitamin and micronutrient panels including vitamin D, B12, folate, ferritin, and zinc are also available. All blood draws are performed by experienced phlebotomists at the Farrer Park Medical Centre, the Amara Health Screening Centre, and across the OneCare GP network. Results are reviewed by a doctor in a structured consultation, ensuring that abnormal findings are contextualised and acted upon with appropriate follow-up care.
