About this treatment
STD Gold combines the two testing methods that a thorough sexual health screen needs. The blood side covers the five bloodborne markers — HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B and hepatitis C — which are detected through the body's antibody and antigen response. Preparation required
Do not urinate for at least one hour before the appointment — the multiplex uses a first-catch urine sample. Bring the date of any specific exposure so window periods can be judged.
