About this treatment
This panel detects pathogens rather than antibodies. PCR amplifies an organism's genetic material from a urine sample or swab, which means it finds an infection whether or not you have symptoms and without waiting for an immune response to develop — a decisive advantage over serology for the organisms it covers.
