About this treatment
Hepatitis B is a bloodborne virus that can cause chronic liver infection, cirrhosis and liver cancer, and prevalence across Southeast Asia is high enough that vaccination is standard advice for long-term residents and frequent travellers. Long-term residents and frequent travellers in Southeast Asia, healthcare workers, and anyone whose hepatitis B status is unknown.
