About this treatment

Dengue is endemic in Thailand and Bangkok sees substantial transmission every rainy season, carried by Aedes mosquitoes that bite during the day rather than at night. Anyone living here long term has meaningful cumulative exposure risk, and second infections with a different serotype carry a higher risk of severe dengue than first infections — which is what made earlier dengue vaccines complicated to use. Who is this for?

Long-term Bangkok residents and anyone spending an extended period in dengue-endemic Thailand.

Booking options & clinic offers

Preparation required
