Skin hydration, often called a skin booster, is a revitalising treatment that uses injectable hyaluronic acid in a thin, spreadable form to hydrate the skin and stimulate its own repair, rather than to fill a specific fold. Hyaluronic acid holds many times its weight in water, so micro-deposits placed evenly across an area act as tiny reservoirs of moisture while also signalling fibroblasts to produce more collagen over time. The result is skin that looks softer, smoother and more radiant, with improved elasticity — and, importantly, without altering your facial features or adding volume. After cleansing and an optional topical anaesthetic, the HA solution is introduced through a series of fine micro-injections across the treatment zone, typically the cheeks, the area around the eyes, the neck or the back of the hands. The session takes around forty minutes. Tiny injection bumps and slight redness are normal and usually settle within hours to a day.
