Facial mesotherapy is a microinjection technique that places active ingredients exactly where the skin can use them — in the mesoderm, the middle layer of the skin. Rather than relying on a cream to penetrate from the surface, a tailored cocktail of vitamins, amino acids, peptides, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid is delivered through dozens of very superficial injections across the face. This nourishes the skin directly, deeply hydrates it and stimulates the fibroblasts to produce more collagen and elastin, which over a course of treatments improves texture, tone, firmness and radiance. At GH Solutions facial mesotherapy is a physician-led treatment in the Blue House clinic at Spa Resort Sanssouci and is used both to rejuvenate tired, dull or ageing skin and as an anti-ageing preventive for younger skin. After cleansing and an optional numbing cream, the practitioner administers the cocktail across the cheeks, forehead and around the eyes and mouth using a fine needle or a mesotherapy device. The session takes around thirty to forty-five minutes. Small injection bumps, mild redness and occasional pinpoint bruising are normal and settle within a day or so. Because results are cumulative, a course of sessions spaced a couple of weeks apart is recommended to build a visible, lasting improvement, after which periodic maintenance keeps the skin in condition. There is essentially no downtime.
