About this treatment
Light-based therapy applies specific wavelengths of light to the skin to influence cellular behaviour without heat damage or downtime. Depending on the protocol, light therapy is associated with reduced inflammation in acne-prone skin, accelerated post-procedure healing, and stimulation of fibroblast activity supporting collagen production and overall skin quality.
At Genesys Medical, phototherapy is offered both as a standalone course — the published 3+1 package (2,700 Kč) suits problem or inflamed skin needing a calming series — and as the clinic's standard recovery add-on after regenerative procedures: the price list explicitly recommends a 900 Kč light session after every microneedling treatment, and photodynamic sessions are built into the clinic's body programmes alongside wraps.
A session takes around 20–30 minutes: the skin is cleansed, eyes are protected, and the treatment zone is exposed to the light source. The experience is warm and relaxing with zero downtime — makeup can be applied immediately afterwards. Courses of 4–8 sessions, one to two per week, are typical for standalone use.
