Plasmatherapy at Genesys Medical injects the patient's own platelet-rich plasma into the skin to stimulate natural regeneration — improving skin quality, elasticity and tone. The lead physician is trained in plasmolifting for both cosmetology and trichology (hair and scalp) applications.
About this treatment
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy — often called plasmolifting or a "vampire facial" — harnesses the regenerative biology of the patient's own blood. A small blood sample is centrifuged to concentrate platelets, which release a cocktail of growth factors associated with tissue repair, collagen synthesis and improved microcirculation. The plasma is then re-injected into the skin in a series of micro-deposits.
Because the material is entirely autologous, PRP carries minimal allergy or rejection risk, making it a fit for patients who prefer biological treatments over synthetic injectables. Typical aesthetic indications include dull, tired skin, fine lines, early laxity, under-eye crepiness and post-acne texture. MUDr. Synková is additionally certified in plasmolifting for trichology, where PRP is applied to the scalp as a supportive treatment for hair thinning.
A session takes about 60 minutes including blood draw, preparation and topical numbing. Small injection marks and mild swelling settle within 24–72 hours. Courses of 2–3 sessions spaced about a month apart, with maintenance every 6–12 months, are typical.
