Type
Microneedling
Duration
1 hour
Dermapen microneedling at Genesys Medical combines collagen-induction needling with the patient's own platelet-rich plasma, driving growth factors into the micro-channels for amplified skin regeneration — improving texture, scars, pores and fine lines.
Microneedling uses a motorised pen with fine sterile needles to create thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin, triggering the wound-healing cascade and stimulating new collagen and elastin without removing the skin surface. Genesys Medical enhances the standard protocol by combining needling with autologous plasma: blood is drawn and centrifuged at the start of the session, and the platelet-rich fraction — concentrated in growth factors — is worked into the freshly created micro-channels where absorption is maximal. This combined approach targets uneven texture, enlarged pores, fine lines, post-acne scarring, dull tone and early skin laxity. Because the plasma is the patient's own, the biological component carries no allergy risk. The session takes about 60 minutes including blood draw and topical numbing. The skin is red for 24–48 hours, similar to mild sunburn, with possible light flaking by day three. A course of 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart is typical. The clinic recommends adding a photodynamic light-therapy session (900 Kč) after each treatment to support healing and results.
