About this treatment
Certain fat deposits are notoriously resistant to diet and exercise — the double chin, small abdominal pockets, knee pads. Injection lipolysis (intralipotherapy) offers a non-surgical route: a phosphatidylcholine-based solution is injected directly into the subcutaneous fat, where it disrupts fat cell membranes; the released lipids are then gradually processed by the body's metabolism over the following weeks.
MUDr. Synková holds intralipotherapy certification through International Medical Expert and Marllor International. Treatment begins with an examination to confirm that the deposit is suitable (the method treats small, localised pockets, not overall weight), followed by a series of injections into the mapped area — typically 15–30 minutes per session.
Expect swelling, tenderness and possible bruising in the treated zone for several days to two weeks; this is part of the intended inflammatory fat-breakdown response. Visible reduction develops over 4–8 weeks, and 2–4 sessions spaced 6–8 weeks apart are commonly needed.
