Ultraformer MPT (Macro & Micro Pulsed-mode Therapy) is a Korean-made HIFU platform from Classys that combines macro-focused ultrasound for SMAS-layer lifting with micro-focused ultrasound for superficial skin tightening — all delivered in pulsed mode (vs. the continuous mode of older HIFU devices), which sharply reduces pain and treatment time. Gen Z Clinic uses Ultraformer MPT for clients who want lifting plus an additional skin-quality / glow effect that classic HIFU alone doesn't deliver.
About this treatment
Ultraformer MPT represents a generational step beyond conventional HIFU. While classic 3D HIFU delivers continuous ultrasound pulses (slower, often more painful), Ultraformer MPT uses pulsed-mode delivery and combines two distinct cartridge classes:
- Macro Focused Ultrasound (MFU) — penetrates 3.0 / 4.5 mm to the SMAS layer for genuine non-surgical lifting
- Micro Focused Ultrasound (MMFU) — delivers shallower pulses (1.5–2.0 mm) for tightening of the upper dermis, pore size, and skin radiance
