About this treatment
Meso Fat is a non-surgical alternative to buccal fat removal or liposuction for small, defined fat pockets in the lower face. The clinic injects a multi-component lipolytic solution into the subcutaneous fat layer using a fine-gauge needle in a grid pattern. The active components work in sequence:
- 1 Dissolve — deoxycholic acid–class detergent disrupts adipocyte cell membranes, causing controlled cell death (apoptosis)
- 2 Expel — phosphatidylcholine and L-carnitine help mobilize the released triglycerides for clearance via the lymphatic system
- 3 Inhibit — peptides reduce the local re-uptake of fat, slowing rebound
- 4 Lift — Argireline-family peptides (acetyl hexapeptide-8) tighten the dermis as fat is lost, preventing post-procedure laxity
