Protégé Intima is a non-surgical contouring treatment for the external genital area that combines monopolar radiofrequency energy with high-frequency ultrasound. At G-CENTRUM Olomouc the device is used under gynecological supervision to address labia laxity, reduced elasticity, and related concerns — offering a non-invasive alternative to surgical labiaplasty. The energy heats the dermis to stimulate collagen contraction and long-term remodelling. A course of three to four sessions at two-week intervals is standard, with results developing progressively over the treatment series.
About this treatment
Protégé Intima delivers two complementary energy types — monopolar radiofrequency and high-frequency ultrasound — to the external vulvar and labial tissues. Monopolar RF generates heat in the deeper dermal and subdermal layers, triggering collagen contraction (immediate tightening) and fibroblast-driven neo-collagenesis (longer-term remodelling). The ultrasound component works at a different tissue depth to improve overall tissue quality and elasticity.
At G-CENTRUM Olomouc, the treatment is performed in the aesthetic gynecology suite. A gel is applied to the treatment area, then the Protégé Intima handpiece is applied and moved in slow overlapping passes. Each session runs approximately 30 minutes. Patients typically describe the sensation as a warm massage — not painful. No anaesthesia is required.
The recommended protocol is three to four sessions at two-week intervals, with improvement building cumulatively. The primary indications include: labia minora or majora laxity, post-pregnancy changes in external appearance, skin laxity affecting confidence or comfort, and desire for a non-surgical alternative to labiaplasty.
