Where photorejuvenation treats diffuse sun damage across the whole face, this service targets discrete lesions: individual age and sun spots, broken capillaries and spider veins on the face and around the nose, and small benign vascular lesions (hemangiomas / cherry angiomas). Light energy is absorbed selectively — by melanin in pigmented spots, which darken and flake away over about a week, or by haemoglobin in vessels, which coagulate and are gradually reabsorbed by the body. Pricing is per lesion and per session: pigment spots and veins from 800 Kč (a quick 5–30-minute visit depending on count), hemangiomas from 700 Kč, and an intensive 3-in-1 session for larger pigment areas at 2,590 Kč. Small lesions often clear in 1–2 sessions; denser vascular areas may need 2–4 visits spaced 4–6 weeks apart. An important safety advantage at FYMC: the clinic's physician team includes dermatologists with backgrounds at the VFN Prague Dermatovenereology Clinic and the Melanoma Commission, so pigmented lesions can be properly assessed before any cosmetic removal — atypical or changing moles are never lasered and are referred for dermatological evaluation instead. Post-treatment care is simple: keep treated spots protected with SPF 50, avoid picking flaking pigment, and skip saunas and intense exercise for 48 hours. Treatments are best scheduled on untanned skin.
