Plasma liner (plasma pen) treatment at Follow Clinic is a non-surgical method for tightening and lifting the upper and lower eyelids, softening crow's feet, and removing benign skin tags and papillomas. Performed exclusively by Ivona Jarolímová — the clinic's owner and plasma pen specialist — the device uses ionized gas (plasma) to create micro-contractions in the skin, resulting in immediate visible tightening without incisions or anaesthesia. Upper eyelid treatment is 6,500 Kč; lower eyelids 6,000 Kč; crow's feet 3,000 Kč. Visible crusting resolves within 7–10 days; full collagen remodelling completes at 4–8 weeks.
Plasma liner — also known as plasma pen, fibroblast therapy, or plasma lift — is a non-invasive skin tightening technique that uses a handheld device to convert electrical energy into ionized gas (plasma), creating a tiny arc between the device tip and the skin surface. When this arc contacts the epidermis, it causes instantaneous sublimation of the superficial skin cells — converting solid skin tissue directly to gas — without transferring heat to the surrounding tissue. The resulting micro-trauma produces a controlled inflammatory response that triggers fibroblast contraction and new collagen synthesis, causing the skin to physically contract (tighten) in a measurable, lasting way. At Follow Clinic, the plasma liner is the specialty of Ivona Jarolímová, the clinic's owner, who applies the technique primarily for eyelid tightening — the most requested application for this device. Upper eyelid treatment (6,500 Kč) addresses hooding and excess skin from brow ptosis and skin laxity, creating a lifted, more open eye appearance. Lower eyelid treatment (6,000 Kč) targets under-eye crepiness and mild skin redundancy. Crow's feet (3,000 Kč) are addressed by a series of micro-dots applied along the periorbital skin to tighten and smooth the surface. Papilloma and skin tag removal (up to 5 lesions, 1,500 Kč) uses the plasma arc to ablate small benign lesions cleanly and precisely. Each treated area develops small dark crusts (scabs) at the arc contact points over the first 1–3 days, which fall off naturally within 7–10 days to reveal new skin beneath. During this period, the treated area should be kept dry, no make-up applied, and direct sun exposure avoided. Significant swelling of the eyelid region is normal in the 24–48 hours following upper or lower eyelid treatment. Full results are visible once healing is complete at 4–8 weeks, when the new collagen has fully remodelled. The treatment is not suitable for very dark skin tones due to the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and is contraindicated during pregnancy, with active skin infection, or in clients on blood-thinners.
