Dermapen + Biorevitalization at Follow Clinic is a hydration-focused microneedling protocol that combines the channel-creating effect of Dermapen with the transdermal delivery of a biorevitalization serum containing high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid and supporting peptides or vitamins. Biorevitalization differs from bioremodeling (e.g. Profhilo) in that the HA is applied topically and driven into the skin via the microneedling channels, rather than injected at specific points. This allows the active ingredients to be distributed more superficially and evenly across the treated surface. The Dermapen device is set to an appropriate needle depth (typically 0.5–1.5 mm for facial biorevitalization) and used across the full face in a stamping pattern to create the micro-channels. The biorevitalization serum — which contains HA in concentrations that remain at the surface under normal application — is applied during and after the microneedling phase, absorbed transdermally through the open channels before they close over the next 15–30 minutes. The primary outcomes are improved skin moisture binding, reduced superficial fine lines, improved skin tone, and a visible glow from enhanced dermal hydration. Wrinkle reduction comes from both the collagen induction response of microneedling and the plumping effect of HA in the dermis.
