A foundational health screening for men under 40 covering internal medicine consultation, cardiac assessment, abdominal imaging, lung function testing, and a core blood panel including lipids, glucose, liver, kidney, thyroid, and inflammatory markers. Designed as an efficient annual baseline for younger men without age-specific risk factors.
The Silver Check-Up for men under 40 is the entry-level screening package at Florence Nightingale Hospital, structured to cover the essential diagnostic bases without the age-specific investigations that become relevant later in life. The programme begins with an internal medicine consultation and proceeds through a series of functional and imaging assessments. Cardiac screening includes electrocardiography and echocardiography to evaluate heart rhythm and structural function, while a chest X-ray and pulmonary function test assess respiratory health. Total abdominal ultrasound provides imaging of the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, spleen, and pancreas — the major abdominal organs where early pathology is often clinically silent. The blood panel covers a complete blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, high-sensitivity CRP, fasting glucose, full lipid profile including HDL and LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, creatinine and blood urea nitrogen for kidney function, AST and ALT for liver health, uric acid, and thyroid markers (TSH and free T4). Urinalysis and a faecal occult blood test complete the screening. This package is well suited for men in their twenties and thirties who want a structured annual health check within a JCI-accredited hospital environment, providing a clear data baseline against which future changes can be tracked.
