RF Microneedling

RF microneedling pairs microneedling with radiofrequency energy released into the deeper layers of the skin, combining surface renewal with controlled heating of the dermis. The radiofrequency is intended to firm and tighten skin more than microneedling alone, which makes it well suited to early laxity, crêpey eye-area skin and the neck. The studio treats the face, eye area, neck, décolleté and selected body areas, and the treatment works best as a short course.

Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling combines two mechanisms in one treatment. Fine needles create micro-channels that prompt the skin's natural healing and collagen response, while radiofrequency energy delivered from the needle tips warms the deeper dermis. That controlled heat is associated with contraction of existing collagen and the formation of new collagen and elastin over the following weeks, giving a firming, tightening effect that surface microneedling cannot achieve on its own. At FemiCentrum the area is cleansed and numbed before the cosmetologist passes the device across it; a session usually takes around forty-five to sixty minutes. Afterwards the skin commonly feels warm and looks flushed with a sensation of mild tightness for a day or two, but other downtime is limited. The treatment is particularly used for early skin laxity — softening the appearance of jowls, firming the lower face and neck, and improving thin, crêpey skin around the eyes — as well as enlarged pores and some textural concerns. Because results build as collagen remodels, a course of around three sessions spaced several weeks apart is typical, with effects continuing to develop over the following months and occasional maintenance thereafter. The clinic can also treat the neck, décolleté and individual body areas. Suitability — including any implanted electronic devices — is reviewed beforehand, and the treatment is avoided during pregnancy.
