PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) therapy at Eva Clinic uses the patient's own blood, centrifuged to concentrate growth factors, and reinjected or applied via microneedling to stimulate collagen production, tissue regeneration, and — on the scalp — hair follicle activation. The process is entirely autologous: a small blood draw of 10–20 ml is centrifuged to separate the platelet-rich plasma, which is then applied within minutes. Growth factors including PDGF, TGF-β, and VEGF directly stimulate fibroblasts and keratinocytes at the injection site. MUDr. Chovančíková applies PRP to the face, neck, décolletage, hands, and scalp, adapting the delivery method to the treatment area and the client's preference for needles vs. microneedling.
About this treatment
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy leverages the body's innate repair mechanisms by concentrating the growth-factor payload of blood platelets and delivering it precisely to a target tissue. Platelets — the small cell fragments primarily known for their role in clotting — contain dense-core alpha granules loaded with bioactive proteins including Platelet-Derived Growth Factor (PDGF), Transforming Growth Factor-β (TGF-β), Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor…
At Eva Clinic, the PRP preparation follows a standardised protocol: 10–20 ml of venous blood is drawn from the client's arm and placed in anticoagulant-containing PRP tubes, which are centrifuged at 1500–2000 rpm for 8–10 minutes to separate the plasma fraction from red blood cells and buffy coat. The resulting PRP — with a platelet concentration approximately 4–6× higher than baseline blood — is drawn into fine syringes for immediate use.
Application technique varies by treatment area:
