About this treatment
Cryolipolysis is founded on the principle of selective cryolysis — fat cells (adipocytes) are significantly more sensitive to cold-induced apoptosis than the surrounding dermal, muscular, and neural tissue. At Esthetic Medical, the treatment begins with a thorough physician assessment to identify the target zones and confirm suitability (patients with cryoglobulinemia, cold urticaria, or Raynaud's phenomenon are not candidates).
A gel pad is placed over the treatment area to protect the skin.
