Cryolipolysis — Non-Invasive Fat Reduction

Cryolipolysis at Esthetic Medical uses precisely controlled cooling to target localised fat deposits without incisions or anaesthesia. The applicator draws the tissue into the treatment cup and reduces the temperature to approximately 4°C — the point at which fat cells crystallise and begin apoptosis while the overlying skin and muscle remain unharmed. Over the following 8–12 weeks the body's lymphatic system naturally clears the treated fat cells, reshaping the contour of the abdomen, flanks, inner and outer thighs, upper arms, or double chin. The clinic recommends combining cryolipolysis with shock-wave therapy, Exilis, or lymphatic drainage for enhanced results.

Cryolipolysis is founded on the principle of selective cryolysis — fat cells (adipocytes) are significantly more sensitive to cold-induced apoptosis than the surrounding dermal, muscular, and neural tissue.
