Results typically last 1–1.5 years. Profhilo redermalisation and filler dissolving with hyaluronidase are also available.
About this treatment
Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are gel-based injectables made from a sugar molecule naturally present in skin, where it binds water and provides volume and hydration. Injected by a trained physician, HA fillers restore age-related volume loss, define facial contours, and smooth static wrinkles — and unlike permanent fillers, they are gradually metabolised by the body and fully reversible with hyaluronidase.
Materials
Esthea Medical uses only certified products from renowned manufacturers — Juvederm (Allergan), Restylane (Galderma), Teosyal (Teoxane) and Stylage (Vivacy). Different products in these ranges have different gel densities and lifting capacities, selected per indication: soft, hydrating gels for lips and tear troughs; firmer volumising gels for cheeks, chin and jawline.

Preparation required
Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medication or supplements for 24–48 hours before treatment to limit bruising. Do not book within 2 weeks of an important event if treating lips. Inform the physician of previous filler treatments, allergies, and any pregnancy or breastfeeding.
