It generates a controlled stream of ionised atmospheric gas (plasma) that sublimes the surface skin cells without heat spreading laterally into surrounding tissue. This precise vaporisation causes immediate micro-contraction of the tissue and initiates a healing cascade that stimulates collagen and elastin production over several weeks and months. The net result is a visible tightening and skin surface renewal that can resemble the outcome of minor surgical procedures, without incisions or general anaesthesia.
