Profhilo Skin Remodelling

Profhilo at Estetika by Medfima is an injectable skin remodelling treatment using one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid available in any injectable product. Unlike conventional HA fillers, Profhilo is not cross-linked — it spreads throughout the tissue in a bio-remodelling action, stimulating the production of four types of collagen and elastin while delivering intense hydration. Two sessions four weeks apart are the standard protocol. Profhilo Structura, the deeper-tissue variant at 9 900 Kč, addresses the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS) layer for more pronounced tissue firming in clients with more advanced laxity. Profhilo is classified as a hybrid cooperative complex (HCC) of high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, and this unique formulation sets it apart from every other injectable HA product on the market. Standard HA fillers use cross-linking agents (BDDE) to create a stable gel that stays in place and adds volume. Profhilo deliberately avoids cross-linking: its two HA fractions are thermally bonded, producing a hybrid complex that flows through tissue planes on injection, distributing itself over a wide area from just five specific injection points per side of the face (the BAP — Bio Aesthetic Points — technique). This distribution pattern means that a single session of Profhilo treats the full face, neck, décolletage, or hands from a small number of injection points, minimising discomfort. As the product integrates with the surrounding dermal matrix, both HA fractions exert their effects: the high-molecular-weight component acts as a scaffold and hydrator, the low-molecular-weight component penetrates deeper to stimulate fibroblasts, keratinocytes, and adipocytes. The result is simultaneous stimulation of collagen types I, III, and IV plus elastin — a comprehensive remodelling that improves skin texture, firmness, and hydration without adding volume or altering facial expressions. It is one of the few injectable treatments that is genuinely suitable for all skin types, including darker Fitzpatrick types where some energy-based treatments carry pigmentation risk. Post-procedure, there is minimal downtime — small papules at injection points flatten within a few hours, and clients can return to normal activities (excluding intense exercise and saunas) the same day.
