AestheFill — Polylactic Acid Non-Surgical Lift

AestheFill is a polylactic acid (PLLA) biostimulator — often called a 'liquid thread lift' — that stimulates the body's own collagen to gradually restore facial volume, lift sagging contours and improve skin texture over several weeks. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, AestheFill does not provide immediate volume; instead, it triggers a progressive biological response that builds results over one to three months and maintains them for approximately two years. Estetik Point holds regional exclusivity for AestheFill in the Olomouc area and is the only centre in the region offering this procedure. AestheFill belongs to the class of injectable biostimulators — substances that work not by adding volume directly but by triggering the skin's own regenerative biology. Its active ingredient is poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a synthetic but biocompatible and biodegradable polymer that has a long safety record in sutures and medical implants. When injected into the subcutaneous tissue, the PLLA microparticles are recognised by fibroblasts, which mount a controlled regenerative response: collagen fibres are laid down around the particles over the following weeks and months, gradually adding structural support, restoring volume and lifting the treatment area. At Estetik Point this treatment is available as a regional exclusive — the clinic holds the only distribution rights for AestheFill in the Olomouc area, meaning patients in Moravia must travel to Brno or Prague to find it elsewhere in the Czech Republic. The treating physician begins with a detailed consultation to assess facial anatomy, degree of volume loss and laxity, and the patient's goals. A customised dose is prepared; the injection is administered using a fine cannula to minimise bruising and ensure even distribution of the product. Target areas include the nasolabial folds, cheekbone projection, mid-face contour, periocular and perioral wrinkles, skin folds from gravitational sagging, and photoaged areas of the face, neck and décolletage. The procedure is particularly well suited to patients with gravitational sagging who are not yet ready for surgical intervention, as it can partially substitute for a surgical lift in suitable candidates. Results begin to appear approximately four to six weeks after the first session as collagen synthesis reaches a visible threshold; the final outcome is typically seen at three months. The improvement can last up to two years before a repeat session is needed. Because the product is entirely resorbed over time, there is no permanent foreign material in the face. Common side effects include transient redness, swelling and occasional small nodule formation, which resolves as the PLLA breaks down.
