Botulinum toxin injections using the Dysport brand administered by MUDr. Vojtková temporarily relax the muscles responsible for dynamic facial lines — the wrinkles that form from smiling, squinting, and frowning. The treatment requires no preparatory test, can be performed on the same day as consultation, and takes less than 30 minutes in the outpatient setting at Štefánikova 777/27, Ústí nad Labem. Results develop over approximately one week and last three to nine months — typically four to six — with duration extending further after repeated sessions. The clinic also applies botulinum toxin for hyperhidrosis, stopping excessive sweating at the armpits, palms, or feet.
About this treatment
Botulinum toxin is a purified protein derived from Clostridium botulinum that temporarily interrupts the nerve-to-muscle signal in the injected area.
