Skin Tightening

Tissue stimulators are injectable treatments that work by prompting the skin to rebuild its own support structures rather than simply adding volume. Using ingredients such as polynucleotides and poly-L-lactic acid, they are aimed at addressing laxity, thinning and loss of firmness across the face. At Estetica Clinic certified products are applied to densify the skin's structure, improve the facial contour and act intensively against the signs of ageing.
Tissue stimulators are a category of injectable treatment designed to comprehensively address the signs of skin ageing — laxity, loss of subcutaneous support and uneven tone — by stimulating the skin to regenerate its own framework. Two ingredients commonly used illustrate how they work. Polynucleotides have the ability to bind large amounts of water in a spatial network, increasing tissue hydration, and they also support the number and activity of fibroblasts, the cells chiefly responsible for the continuous rebuilding of many of the skin's components. Poly-L-lactic acid is a compound that occurs physiologically in the body and, by encouraging the production of collagen and elastin fibres, helps trigger regenerative processes; it lends elasticity and, through a network of fibres, forms a kind of scaffold that improves the skin's tension and firmness. At Estetica Clinic stimulators are used first and foremost to rebuild the structure of the skin rather than to change the volumetric proportions of the face. Only certified, high-quality products are used, and treatment is carried out under the eye of an experienced cosmetologist. The emphasis is on densifying the skin's structure, improving the oval of the face and acting intensively against ageing, rather than altering the features. Treatment is associated with stronger collagen and elastin production, support for the skin's own hyaluronic acid, a thicker and firmer structure, deep hydration and a smoother, better-defined contour. The specific indications, effects and composition vary between the individual stimulators, and the appropriate product and protocol are chosen at consultation. The treatment is avoided over active bacterial, fungal or viral skin infections, in active autoimmune disease, acute or chronic skin disorders, cancer or treatment with chemotherapy or radiotherapy, diabetes, and during pregnancy and lactation.
