Hyaluronic acid lip filler to enlarge and reshape the lips at Estemedic, performed by physician MUDr. Ilona Karasová. HA is injected through a fine needle along the body of the lip and the vermilion border to add volume, define the lip border, improve symmetry and soften fine lines around the mouth, with a result visible immediately. Because the lips are a sensitive area, numbing cream is available beforehand for comfort. Some initial swelling is normal and settles over the following days to reveal the final shape; the effect lasts several months. Lip augmentation uses hyaluronic acid filler to add volume and definition to the lips while preserving a natural shape. The filler is injected with a fine needle and the result is visible immediately, though some initial swelling is normal and settles over the following days to reveal the final shape. As with other hyaluronic acid treatments the effect is temporary — generally several months — before the gel is naturally broken down, so periodic repetition maintains the result.
