Removable dentures replace several missing teeth or a full arch to restore chewing and appearance. Estedent makes complete and partial acrylic dentures and stronger metal-framework (skeletal) dentures that are slimmer and more stable when some natural teeth remain. Discreet acetal clasps are available instead of visible metal hooks, and the clinic also repairs broken or cracked dentures.

Dentures are removable prostheses that replace missing teeth and the surrounding gum, and Estedent lists several types to match how many teeth remain. A complete acrylic denture restores a full upper or lower arch for patients who have lost all their teeth, resting on the gums and supported by suction and the shape of the ridge. A partial acrylic denture fills in where several teeth are missing and natural teeth remain. For a more refined result the clinic offers a skeletal denture built on a slim cast-metal framework, which is stronger, less bulky and generally more stable and comfortable than an all-acrylic partial because the framework can be supported by the remaining teeth. Making a denture typically involves impressions, a try-in to check fit, bite and tooth position, and final fitting with adjustments. To avoid visible metal clasps on a partial denture, Estedent offers tooth-coloured acetal clasps that blend with the gums and teeth, listed as a separate item. The clinic also repairs dentures that have cracked or fractured by re-bonding them, a useful service for existing denture wearers. Dentures are associated with restored chewing ability, speech and facial support, and the dentist will discuss realistic expectations around adaptation, care and periodic relines, as well as whether implants could be added later to stabilise a lower denture. Suitability and the most appropriate denture type are agreed after assessment of the remaining teeth and gums.
